Friends of BVPS
Wow, what a week!
First up was the Book Fair, which was wonderfully well attended, followed by the KS1 nativity. The children (and staff) did an amazing job!
The week ended with our Christmas Fair. Thank you to everyone who donated, helped, and/or attended our Christmas festivities. We had some very generous raffle prizes - winners will be notified shortly.
Prizes for the best 'Christmas Jumper' competition will be announced next week.
Wishing you all a very happy Christmas! We're all off for a well deserved rest!
The Friends of Bletchingley Village Primary (FOBS) aim to help support the children’s learning and enjoyment by:
* Promoting positive relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school
* Organising and participating in activities to support, and raise money for the school
* Providing additional funds to enrich the children’s learning and enjoyment
As a parent, you’re already considered to be a part of the FOBs family, and any help you can offer is always greatly appreciated!
If you think you can support FOBS in any way, or would like to find out more, please speak to the Chair or any other committee member for further information. Contact details are available from the school office. You can also email email@example.com to get in touch.
We currently have a very small committee who organise various fundraising events during the year and we need parents to help co-ordinate, set up, run, and clear away. It’s a great way to be involved with your child’s school and it’s also a great way to meet other parents. If you can spare an hour to help at one of our events, we would love to hear from you. It goes without saying that without your support we cannot run the events that go towards funding key resources for the school.
The committee hold an AGM each September, which is publicised and everyone is welcome to attend. We are always looking for new ideas so please come along, or volunteer to get involved at one of our events.
