Friends of BVPS
Welcome to the Autumn term! After a nice restful summer, we're just beginning to plan our events for the new academic year.
Our planning kicks off with the annual AGM on Friday the 27th from 1.45pm in The Lodge, followed by a parents coffee afternoon. Please do join us if you can.
This year, we would love to welcome new committee members as some of the current committee (Chair and Treasurer) have children which are rapidly approaching the end of their time at Bletchingley. It would be wonderful to get these roles filled soon to ensure a smooth handover. If you're interested, please do pop along to the AGM, to grab one of us for a chat.

The Friends of Bletchingley Village Primary (FOBS) aim to help support the children’s learning and enjoyment by:
* Promoting positive relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school
* Organising and participating in activities to support, and raise money for the school
* Providing additional funds to enrich the children’s learning and enjoyment
As a parent, you’re already considered to be a part of the FOBs family, and any help you can offer is always greatly appreciated!
If you think you can support FOBS in any way, or would like to find out more, please speak to the Chair or any other committee member for further information. Contact details are available from the school office. You can also email email@example.com to get in touch.
We currently have a very small committee who organise various fundraising events during the year and we need parents to help co-ordinate, set up, run, and clear away. It’s a great way to be involved with your child’s school and it’s also a great way to meet other parents. If you can spare an hour to help at one of our events, we would love to hear from you. It goes without saying that without your support we cannot run the events that go towards funding key resources for the school.
The committee hold an AGM each September, which is publicised and everyone is welcome to attend. We are always looking for new ideas so please come along, or volunteer to get involved at one of our events.
